Screening of Chest Roentgenograms by Advanced Roentgen Technoloqists

Abstract

In a pilot program the authors investigated the feasibility of training technologists to screen survey chest roentgenograms. After a training program and guided practical experience, the results of testing indicated that the interpretations of these radiologic assistants compare favorably with those of the staff radiologists, senior residents, and those reported in the literature.
