The Common Duct Dilates After Cholecystectomy and With Advancing Age

Abstract

Patients with remote cholecystectomy have larger common duct diameters than those with no or interval cholecystectomy. Most asymptomatic patients with or without cholecystectomy have a normal common duct diameter.
