Abstract

Studies investigating survival after sublobar resection of stage IA NSCLC should always distinguish between anatomical segmentectomies and wedge resections. If limited functional operability requires a sublobar resection of stage IA NSCLC, segmentectomy with systematic lymphadenectomy should be preferred.
