Activation of the AKT/mTOR pathway in autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease (ARPKD)

Abstract

Our results point to a central role of AKT/mTOR signalling in ARPKD and justify further investigations to evaluate the therapeutic potential of mTOR inhibitors in ARPKD patients.
