Quick on the uptake: A 20-mer DNA oligomer modified with 5-[(6-guanidiniohexylcarbamoyl)methyl]-2′-deoxyuridine (Tg) shows efficient cellular uptake (blue arrow) in HeLa cells without any other reagents.
