Abstract

Abstract The unique mechanical and rheological properties of ionomers are sources of growing academic and industrial interest. The relationship between the complex properties that ionomers exhibit and their microstructure has been the subject of numerous studies. A greater understanding of this relationship is necessary if one wishes to manipulate the ionic interactions in order to control the properties of the polymer.
