Salivary IgA and Oral Candidiasis in Asthmatic Patients Treated with Inhaled Corticosteroid

Abstract

Our results suggest that inhaled corticosteroids can potentially decrease salivary total IgA but that host factors are also important in the development of oral candidiasis.
