Characterisation of predominant molecular patterns of Burkholderia pseudomallei in Taiwan

Abstract

Burkholderia pseudomallei isolates were geographically and temporally clustered in Taiwan. This finding supports the contention that the Er-Ren River Basin now constitutes the highest risk area for melioidosis in Taiwan.
