Performance evaluation of the frequency detectors for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing

Abstract

This paper deals with the performance evaluation of a total of six frequency synchronization algorithms (five known algorithms and one new algorithm proposed in this paper called the "guard-band power detection algorithm") for OFDM systems in the channel with AWGN and multipath.
