LaNbTiO<sub>6</sub>:Ho<sup>3+</sup>, Bi<sup>3+</sup> was synthesized and the remarkably enhance of photoluminescence intensity was ascribed to efficient energy transfer from Bi<sup>3+</sup> to Ho<sup>3+</sup>.
