ABSTRACT A new mite species, Eustigmaeus dogani, is described and figured based on holotype female collected from alfalfa soil Medicago sativa L., Sanandaj, Kurdistan province, and one paratype collected from grassy soil, Rijab, Kermanshah province, Iran. The dorsal idiosomal setae of the new species clearly thick and with few serrations, and coxisternal shields distinctly reticulated. A key to all known Iranian species of the genus is given.
