Abstract

Autogenous bone samples provided higher vital over comparable total bone levels than mHA-grafted sites. Osteoblast gene expression profiles from mHA grafts revealed higher expression of certain specific markers of osteoblast differentiation and bone formation, associated with a lower osteoclastogenic potential.
