Tissue‐Engineered Human Nasal Septal Cartilage Using the Alginate‐Recovered‐Chondrocyte Method

Abstract

Tissue-engineered human nasal septal cartilage using the ARC method has the histologic and gross appearance of native cartilage and has biochemical composition more like that of native cartilage than monolayer constructs. This is the first report of human nasal septal neocartilage formation without the use of biodegradable scaffolds.
