Abstract The computation of the three‐dimensional viscous flow past several geometries is investigated. An iterative technique resting on the fully elliptic mode is applied to the Reynolds‐Averaged Navier‐Stokes Equations written in a non‐orthogonal curvilinear body‐fitted co‐ordinate system. Results of the computation are compared with available experiments.
