Danazol treatment of idiopathic myelofibrosis with severe anemia.

Abstract

Danazol, given at an appropriate dosage for a sufficient time, is an effective treatment for a substantial proportion of IM patients with severe anemia without marked splenomegaly or who have been previously splenectomized.
