Performance of rotary flow cyclones

Abstract

Abstract An analysis of the operation of the rotary flow cyclone suggests that no dust below 1μ will be captured in this equipment under normal operting conditions, and that performance will not deteriorate with the use of a dirty secondary flow. Experimental data support these conclusions.
