Clinical outcome after repair of acute type A dissection in patients over 70 years-old

Abstract

Results of repair of acute type A dissections in the elderly are acceptable for uncomplicated cases at admission. Using HCA in elderly patients whenever required for appropriate repair does not worsen early or late survival.
