Abstract

AbstractVarious forms of therapy have been used in cicatricial pemphigoid with limited success. A wide spectrum of disease exists and treatment should be tailored to the specific clinical manifestations of the individual with more aggressive regimes indicated in certain circumstances. The natural history of cicatricial pemphigoid is dismal and the morbidity from drug therapy might be worse than the disease itself.
