Synthesis of multiple beam linear antenna arrays using genetic algorithms

Abstract

Genetic algorithms are used to synthesize the radiation pattern of a linear array subject to many restrictions. In particular, a dual beam radiation pattern with low sidelobes is presented. The results show that genetic algorithms are robust and can solve complex antenna problems.
