Improved Access and Quality of Care After Enrollment in the New York State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)

Abstract

Enrollment in the NYS SCHIP was associated with 1) improved access, continuity, and quality of care and 2) a change in the pattern of health care, with a greater proportion of care taking place within the usual source of primary care.
