The results are presented of TLD monitoring of 54 persons who were the members of households of out-patients undergoing radioiodine therapy. Views are presented of the significance of these results, taken in conjunction with the results of an earlier contamination survey. Rationalized and simplified proposals are presented as a basis for control of radiation hazard involved in radioiodine out-patient treatment.
