Changes in oxygenation and pulmonary haemodynamics in preterm infants treated with inhaled nitric oxide

Abstract

Treatment with inhaled NO rapidly improves oxygenation and lowers PAP in preterm infants. However, these effects are transient and treatment does not influence long term outcome.
