An environmentally friendly dissolved oxygen and moisture removal system for freely breathing transformers

Abstract

This article presents the results of an industrial experiment, which demonstrate the possibility of arresting or reducing the oxidative decay of oil-paper insulation in freely breathing power transformers by using a new type of nitrogen blanketing system.
