EANM/SNMMI Guideline for¹⁸F-FDG Use in Inflammation and Infection

Abstract

The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
\n(SNMMI) is an international scientific and professional
\norganization founded in 1954 to promote the science,
\ntechnology and practical application of nuclear medicine.
\nIts 16,000 members are physicians, technologists, and
\nscientists specializing in the research and practice of
\nnuclear medicine. In addition to publishing journals, newsletters,
\nand books, the SNMMI also sponsors international
\nmeetings and workshops designed to increase the competencies
\nof nuclear medicine practitioners and to promote
\nnew advances in the science of nuclear medicine. The
\nEuropean Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) is
\na professional nonprofit medical association that facilitates
\ncommunication worldwide between individuals pursuing
\nclinical and research excellence in nuclear medicine. The
\nEANM was founded in 1985.
