This manual describes how the numerical SWAP model Version 2.0.9d can be used to simulate vertical transport of weather, solutes and heat in variably saturated, cultivated soils. A brief theoretical description is followed by a technical description of model structure and general data flow. An extensive explanation is given of program inputs and outputs based on ASCII text files. The manual ends with examples using important features of the model.
