Quantitative magnetic resonance techniques in the evaluation of intracranial tuberculomas

Abstract

Intracranial tuberculomas are characterized by relatively short T2 relaxation times (compared to normal gray matter), decreased MTR, and mostly no restriction of diffusion. A combination of these quantitative parameters could be of help in the noninvasive diagnosis of tuberculomas.
