Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess the degree to which depressed mother-infant dyads, relative to nondepressed mother-infant dyads, matched behavior states on a continuous scale from negative to neutral to positive affect. Furthermore, interaction synchrony in these two groups was determined by measuring the coherence of the dyads' behavior time series
