New Zinc Sulfide Phosphors Activated by Phosphorus

Abstract

The present paper describes a new series of phosphors in which the activator is the nonmetal phosphorus. This gives a range of unsaturated colors varying from pale blue to yellow as the phosphorus content is increased.
