Semiconductor laser linewidth in optical feedback configurations

Abstract

We present a theoretical analysis for semiconductor laser linewidth, employing optical feedback. This analysis is valid not only for weak feedback, but also for strong feedback including multiple reflections. The experimental result reported so far under a strong feedback condition is well explained.
