Notes on the morphology and life history of<i>Schistocephalus solidus</i>(Cestoda: Diphyllobothriidae)

Abstract

Schistocephalus solidus is a small avian pseudophyllidean cestode which, on account of its small size and the ease with which its plerocercoid may be cultured to maturity in vitro , has been used within recent years for the study of cestode physiology.
