Odonata are considered effective predators to control pest organisms in rice fields. In the rice fields and other sites located in Northern Iran (Mazandaran Province) during 2003-2006, the 30 species from 19 genera and 8 families of Odonata (both suborders Zygoptera and Anisoptera) were collected and evaluated.
