Multiplier-free Phase Recovery for Optical Coherent Receivers

Abstract

We demonstrate a multiplier-free pre-decision phase recovery for optical coherent receivers. The complexity is much lower than previous m <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">th</sup> power phase recovery, while simulation and experiment show that the performance is virtually same.
