Summary: We present three cases, a primary dural lymphoma, a syphilitic gumma, and an aggressive papillary middle-ear tumor, that exhibit dural enhancement adjacent to extraaxial masses on gadopentetate dimeglumine‐enhanced MR, confirming the nonspecific nature of the “dural tail sign.”
