Is routine antenatal screening for syphilis in Nigeria still justified clinically and economically?

Abstract

The seroprevalence rate of syphilis is extremely low in this study. This calls for a review of the policy of routine antenatal serology screening for syphilis in Maiduguri, Nigeria.
