Transrectal high‐intensity focused ultrasound for the treatment of localized prostate cancer: Eight‐year experience

Abstract

High-intensity focused ultrasound therapy appears to be minimally invasive, efficacious and safe for patients with localized prostate cancer, particularly those with low- and intermediate-risk cancer.
