Abstract

These nonrandomized data suggest that CABG improves survival in asymptomatic diabetic patients with high-risk SPECT, although revascularization was performed infrequently in these patients. These results parallel those of the Bypass Angioplasty Revascularization Investigation trial in symptomatic diabetic patients.
