The authors describe the roentgenographic features of microgastria, a rare congenital anomaly of the foregut. Necropsy demonstrated the primitive position of the stomach and pancreas, significantly associated with asplenia and abnormal lung lobation. A brief discussion of the normal embryogenesis of the stomach, omental bursa, and spleen is presented. The expected combination of asplenia and congenital heart disease was not found.
