Abstract

Self-compassion has promise as an intervention in the behavioural treatment of severe chronic self-loathing in people with BPD. Due to the challenges faced, it is useful for behavioural clinicians to have a range of flexible treatment approaches embedded into a coherent principled treatment in treating severe chronic self-loathing in people with BPD.
