Analysis of asymmetric coplanar waveguide with conductor backing

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the asymmetric conductor-backed coplanar waveguide by means of conformal mapping techniques. The effective permittivity, characteristic impedance, and electric-field strength are given. The field patterns are also plotted.
