Diagnosis and treatment of cytomegalovirus iridocyclitis without retinal necrosis

Abstract

CMV infection and specific antiviral therapy should be considered in all cases of relapsing or chronic iridocyclitis and secondary glaucoma. Maintenance regimens of valganciclovir may be necessary to prevent further relapses.
