Addition of oleic acid to delipidated bovine serum albumin aggravates renal damage in experimental protein-overload nephrosis

Abstract

These data show that addition of oleic acid to NEFA-free BSA aggravates renal damage, suggesting a role for NEFA in the pathogenesis of proteinuric nephropathies.
