An Appraisal of Liver and Portal Vein Resection for Hepatocellular Carcinoma With Tumor Thrombi Extending to Portal Bifurcation

Abstract

Liver resection with partial resection of the portal vein is justified in selected patients with hepatocellular carcinoma with tumor thrombi extending to portal bifurcation.
