Abstract

The initial pattern of service use was favorable for both groups. However, over time this pattern persisted for Asian clients with limited English proficiency but not for Latino clients with limited English proficiency. Findings suggest that ethnically focused programs may be an effective approach to engaging populations that are underrepresented in the mental health system.
