We present a facile mechanochemical route for the preparation of hybrid CH<sub>3</sub>NH<sub>3</sub>PbI<sub>3</sub> (MAPbI<sub>3</sub>) perovskite particles with the size of several hundred nanometers for high-efficiency thin-film photovoltaic devices.
