Abstract

Tumor heterogeneity assessed by the COV, being superior to the investigated conventional parameters, is an important predictive factor in patients with rectal cancer. Furthermore, it can provide prognostic information. Therefore, its application is an important step for personalized treatment of rectal cancer.
