Therapeutic angiogenesis with placental growth factor improves exercise tolerance of ischaemic rabbit hindlimbs

Abstract

This study shows that proangiogenic gene therapy can significantly improve performance of ischaemic limbs and supports the concept of therapeutic angiogenesis for the treatment of patients with ischaemia.
