Histogenesis of Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma in the Urinary Tract: Evidence of Urothelial Origin

Abstract

Our findings support an urothelial origin for most clear cell adenocarcinomas of the urinary tract, despite their morphologic resemblance to certain Müllerian-derived tumors of the female genital tract.
