Haemolytic uraemic syndrome following acute pancreatitis.

Abstract

Renal failure in a patient with acute pancreatitis is rarely due to haemolytic uraemic syndrome. But it is important to consider this differential diagnosis so that early treatment can be instituted to prevent mortality.
