Sonographic versus clinical evaluation as predictors of residual trophoblastic tissue

Abstract

Based on our current experience, it seems that the combination of both clinical and ultrasonographic evaluation is recommended before uterine curettage is performed, thus lowering the rate of unnecessary invasive procedures.
