Plasma Adiponectin and Endogenous Glucose Production in Humans

Abstract

These findings are compatible with the hypothesis that adiponectin increases hepatic insulin sensitivity. Consistent with data in animals, adiponectin may have generalized insulin-sensitizing effects in humans.
